Paint protection film is invisible armor — a urethane layer over the zones that take the abuse: front bumper, hood edge, mirrors, rocker panels. Illinois expressways sandblast front ends with rock chips and winter grit; PPF takes those hits so your paint doesn't. Vinyl wrap is the style side of the same craft — full color changes, roofs, accents — that also shields the factory paint underneath.
